Stock Prices
The price of a stock is the main reason people buy and sell stocks. They buy when the price is low and sell the stock when the price rises. But some stock also pay you money in the form of dividends. A stock dividend is money that is paid to shareholders and is a percentage of the profit made by the coporation. Geting dividend payments may make it worthwhile to keep a stock that is not changing much in price as time goes on.
